Potomac Photonics Inc. (PPI) will make a best effort to laser cut parts to the dimensions specified by your .dxf drawing. Tolerances are typically within ± 10%. For tighter tolerances or advanced inspection, submit a Standard RFQ.
If your .dxf file fails our inspection process, you can either fix the issues outlined in the report, or submit the file anyways as a Standard RFQ.
PPI stocks many of the most common materials, including Kapton, Copper, and Stainless Steel. If we do not carry your preferred material, we have the ability to acquire it quickly from our list of qualified suppliers. If you do not see your preferred material listed, or if you’d like to provide your own material, submit a Standard RFQ and an engineer will contact you.
PPI provides rapid turnaround laser micromachining services for prototyping and production projects. Leads times for projects submitted via the Instant Quote System will typically be less than 72hrs.
