Larry received a BS degree in Business, a JD degree, and a LLM in Taxation. After working for Arthur Anderson he became a partner in a suburban Philadelphia firm where he practiced business law for fifteen years before becoming the CEO of a private REIT. He is a co-founder of several ventures in the retail, service, and manufacturing sectors, including a producer of secondary antibodies used worldwide in medical research.

Dr. Beer is responsible for developing and implementing Potomac's strategic direction. He co-led the management buyout of the Company (together with the Lawrence O'Donnell) in 2000, and has managed the Company through profitable years since the buyout. Prior to joining Potomac, he started, turned around and managed ten companies including technology units of Ogden Corporation and Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL). From 1977 to 1982, he was a Vice President with Booz, Allen and Hamilton and from 1967 to 1968, he was the first Environmental Director of electric an utility, Commonwealth Edison Company (now NYSE: EXC). He has a PhD in Geological Engineering (with a Civil Engineering Minor) from the University of Utah, and degrees from the University of Massachusetts (MS) and Bates College (BS). He has lectured at the Wharton Business School, the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce, Bates College and George Mason University. He has published articles and written chapters of books on both technical and business subjects.

Paul is the founder of the Company and a world expert in laser systems and micromachining. He has 37 years experience in research, development and marketing of technology associated with lasers and laser applications. He has a BSEE degree, a MSEE from MIT, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Following his degree work, he served for six years on the research faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. In 1979, Dr. Christensen received a two-year appointment from the National Science Foundation ("NSF") to direct its Quantum Electronics, Waves, and Beams Program.

Paul has a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School, and is a registered professional engineer in 13 states. He was CEO of The ERM Group, Chairman of ERM, Inc., and was the largest shareholder and founding member of this $400 million revenue international environmental consulting organization, ultimately sold to 3i Corporation.

Bob has served as an advisor to the Company since the MBO. Since 1997 he has served as President of ArĂȘte Corporation, a private investment firm focused on energy technologies. From 1983 to 1997 he served as President of ArĂȘte Ventures, Inc., a private investment firm he founded to invest in the fields of modular/dispersed power generation, renewable power generation and specialty materials. Prior to that time, he was a Senior Vice President and Director of Booz Allen & Hamilton, a consulting firm, where he founded the firm's energy division. In addition, he serves as Chairman and a director of Distributed Energy Services Corporation a public company, and as a director of CTP Inc. and H2Gen Innovations, Inc., each a private power technology company.
